Eurekify Releases New Version of Sage Featuring a Key Compliance Module

Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - Eurekify announces the new release of its Sage Discovery & Audit (DNA) software Version 2.7.0. During the last year, Sage DNA has established itself as the leading software for achieving a true role-based implementation of Identity Management.

Sage DNA V2.7.0 introduces Eurekify's first role-based solution for regulatory compliance. New regulations around the world, ranging from HIPAA to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) to various privacy acts, demand that companies implement role-based management as part of their access control efforts.

Notably, SOX requires that top management sets "adequate internal controls". In the context of privileges management, this requires that management takes a proactive approach to verifying that users are provisioned correctly with the necessary access rights, and to limiting the risk of fraudulent or unauthorized activity by employees, customers, and business partners. The new Sage DNA Compliance Module allows explicit specification of rule-based policies on top of role-based privileges structure. Policies can be specified in all levels of the organization:

• Every system administrator can specify policies that reduce the risk of inadvertent errors in privileges assignments
• Security officers can use Sage policies to specify a set of rules that must be met, and compliance with which should be documented every day, week, month, etc.
• Internal and external auditors can use policies to check compliance with various regulations and internal policies prior to, or as part of an audit process

Sage DNA's policies are specified as conditions that must be met by existing privileges, and role definitions (if existing). Special constructs were developed to support classical segregation of duty constraints.

Sage DNA, including but not limited to the new compliance module, can be implemented in virtually every Identity Management environment, and can also be applied to specific platforms and applications. A special offering is available for RACF and Active Directory environments.

In celebration of the new version of Sage DNA, Eurekify and its partners worldwide offer a special low-cost onsite "survey". The survey represents a partial analysis of the customer's own privileges data. Typically, survey results not only shed more light on the benefits of role-based management, but also provide important insight on the customer's specific IdM needs and also on the eventual complexity of IdM deployment.
